Add moving header (separator) with month indicator to account balance layout
When choosing to show more than the default one-month period in a given account balance screen, it gets really hard locating a transaction in a specific month in the past.
I thought inserting a moving header with the current displayed month (that scrolls along with the transaction lines) would make it easier to rapidly scroll through all the transactions and find a specific month.
Edit: just like 'Balance' and 'More' tabs. They have headers for 'Payment Accounts', 'Credit Cards', 'Settings', 'Help', etc and they all behave like I imagined for the month headers.
Example:
Jan., 2020
- Transaction 01
- Transaction 02
- Transaction 03
Dec., 2019
- Transaction 04
- Transaction 05
- Transaction 06
Nov., 2019
- Transaction 07
- Transaction 08
- Transaction 09
Then, scrolling...
Jan., 2020 < (it stays on screen until all its transactions are scrolled out)
- Transaction 03
Dec., 2019
- Transaction 04
- Transaction 05
- Transaction 06
Nov., 2019
- Transaction 07
- Transaction 08
- Transaction 09
Oct., 2019
- Transaction 10

Hello! Have you tried using the search feature?

Hello Yaro!
That is indeed a solution but for a specific known transaction since the app doesn't allow a search by month (except for the custom period). But what if I can't find it and just want to scroll down until I do.
And also, while doing an account reconciliation, I think it would be more appealing to have this separators explicitly showing which month the user is on (sometimes I just forget to keep track on my expenses and leave 2-3 weeks of transactions behind).
Just my opinion based on other finance apps I've used, maybe other users might think it would pollute the layout.
Kind regards!
