Annual Histogram
PrzypięteIt would be very useful to be able to view the various statistics per month by viewing the entire year in the REPORTS section, so as to be able to observe the monthly variations regarding; INCOME, EXPENSES, ASSETS, LIABILITIES, LOSSES, as is already the case for the other categories. An annual histogram with all months compared would be useful.

Cool!

I totally agree that a month-to-month visualisation of expenses would be great!
The cherry on top would be to be able to see between each month the evolution of each category of expenses so I can track where I spend too much

I currently export my money pro data to csv, import to numbers, and then organise my data so I can view expenses by category per month or per week.
Weekly view is most useful for me since I budget myself weekly; I wish this were a native feature of the app, as it would greatly streamline my workflow.9 -
This will help us.

Thanks for the tip! However, I still think it will be useful to have the plotting of these month-to-month data in MoneyPro directly!

Fully agree! This is a mandatory report to track expenses categories throughout the year and their corresponding trends. Example posted by Tahren Ponnusamy is just perfect.

On the yearly report topic a table view is important as well. I have a spreadsheet in which I enter monthly income and expenses taken from the Money Pro statistics. At the end of each line I have the yearly total for each category and sub-category.

Good morning, in order for your app to be more complete and more competitive, I would suggest that the app be able to show charts of categories and agents by dates, for example I want to know in which month or year I spent more or if I am reducing my expenses on a certain agent or category. In other words, in an annual graph it shows me every month and I can see in which month I spent the most on health or unnecessary expenses, to see if I am reducing on leisure expenses, because I have to pass the data to Excel and make a graph and print, or also my income from my business. I want to see an annual graph that shows the months and to know which month is best for my sales.

Easiest way to implement this is - “Adding a NEW Group By Filter(i.e Month)” in existing Income/Expenses report.
Report > Income/Expenses > click on filter funnel > Group by
Currently group by is only showing Categories, Class, Agent as an option. Developer can add here month also to make use of existing report & close this thread

I agree with you all, especially Tahren and Erik. I'd like to compare my numbers from one year to the next one or over the last couple of years to see where I spent more or less money than in the previous period.
So a chart with the total amount but also the different categories would be great.

Fully agree!!

This request has been out there for a couple of years already, many voted for support, hasn't there been any update? I am still unable to plot the time evolution (month-to-month, quarter-to-quarter, etc.) of my income/expenses/assets etc. Am I missing something?
Can it be supported?

Doesn’t look like there’s been any update regarding this feature request unfortunately.
Looking at other finance tracking apps on the App Store, there aren’t many that do offer this functionality.
This has led me to try to learn how to make iOS apps with the ultimate end goal of building a finance tracking app with the exact features I want

Its been quite time this app has not added any new features. Just go to app store and look at version history.

A major new release was announced back in September, though I don't think it's out yet.
I actually like the app, this is the major drawback I see. Doing the statistics via export as Tahren suggested is time consuming while it should be fairly easy to achieve in-App. I'd hate to switch to a different SW just for that

Yeah, Me too like the app and dont want to switch onto another app as it involves moving data and doing a lot of initial setup .
There is also another feature that I am eagerly waiting.Lets hope we get it sometime soon

If they are really willing to implement this functionality/report, hope they also fix the transactions report. Today, the transactions report is structured is such way that each payment transaction creates one single line in the report, even when the payment transaction has multiple entries (like when you use on single payment transaction to buy different expense categories: grocery + meals, for exemple). Today, when I export the transaction report to create my own annual histogram, I miss all the other entries the the multiple expenses transaction.

I need this feature too.
