Split transactions of a mixed type (income and expense, etc)

With respect to Money Pro, I am still having an issue with split transactions in that it seems I can only do split transactions of the same kind. I can split a transaction into multiple income or multiple expense categories but can't mix income and expense categories in one transaction. For example, for a deposit of $450 (net) into a bank account, I can't split that into a payroll (income) category of $500, offset with a $50 income tax (expense) category. Or is there a way of doing that?? What I have done so far, is to create a contra income category called payroll tax and then enter payroll (income category) of $500 and payroll tax (income category) of -$50 to achieve a net deposit of $450.
