Custom month duration

I have a monthly income that is paid out on different dates. For example, one month on the 21st and the next month on the 23rd or 24th. I would like to be able to set the start of the month myself. For example, start on the 21st and end on the 23rd. and the following month starts the 24th to end the 20th.
